Vintage Topaz Glass and Aurora Borealis Gems 1960’s Brooch

Vintage brooch produced in the 1960s. This unique design feature elaborate, hand-crafted leaves and flowers, and has large topaz glass leaves offset with faceted aurora borealis gems. The jewelry from this period was all made in sterling silver and this one is gold plated. Originally sold in up-scale department stores and boutiques, Stars of stage and screen wore these creations. This brooch features multiple colors of yellow and green. It measures 2.25 inches and weighs 18.8g. A lovely Rare piece.
