Vintage Rhinestone Bow Brooch Signed Gerry’s

Vintage Rhinestone Bow Brooch, 1960’s-1970’s. Silver tone with a center clear 6mm rhinestone – three of the loops have a textured illusion design to give the appearance of smaller rhinestones but it is an illusion – there are smooth and shiny silver tone loops as well. It is appx. 2.25″ wide and 1.5″ tall. Signed Gerry’s and in very good condition. The accepted history of Gerry’s Brooches is that Gerry’s Jewelry Company / Gerry’s Creations began with Geraldine Giles in approximately 1950. After the popularity of costume jewelry exploded, Giles began her company and this helped lead to a successful business. Gerry’s Creations is inactive as of 1996 and all their pieces are now vintage.
